Tirkushkovye (Latin Glareolidae) is a family of birds from the order Charadriiformes.

Birds of medium size. A short beak, a deep cut in the mouth, reaching the front edge of the eyes. Distributed in deserts, steppes and semi-deserts of Africa, Asia, Europe, Australia.
